Now that Alan Young is no longer teaching at York,
I can switch these Turmel medpot reports to can.legal:

Intro to John The Engineer's Medpot Combat Reports

JCT: I probably should have included can.legal at the
beginning of my court battles to legalise marijuana, here's
a recap:

In R. v. Parker [2000] the government were ordered to
provide a legislated loophole for the sick through the
marijuana provisions in the CDSA or the prohibition would
become invalid after one year on Aug. 1 2001.

On Mar 15 2002. Justice Pitt declared they the MMAR had
failed to comply on access.

On Jan 9 2003, Justice Lederman declared that the MMAR had
failed to comply on supply.

On May 16 2003, Justice Rogin declared that the MMAR had
failed to comply in not being legislatively enacted
properly.

On July 29 2003, five appeals will be heard before the
Ontario Court of appeal:

The celebrated government appeal of Rogin in J.P.

The celebrated government cross-appeal against Lederman in
Hitzig. The non-celebrated Parker appeal has been ignored so
far.

The non-celebrated Parker appeal against Chapnik J. setting
aside an equivalent judge Pitt.

The non-celebrated Parker-Turmel-Paquette appeal against
Charbonneau for not declaring the Windsor technicality.

The non-celebrated Turmel appeal against Aitken for not
quashing the possess to traffick charge for being arrested
at the door of the House of Commonson Parliament Hill with 7
pounds of marijuana.

A special panel of judges coming off holiday to hear the Big
Five Medpot appeals all on the same day.

And as one of the Appellants, the healthy guy who wants it
for prevention, I do reports on the court activities.

And as a guerrilla lawyer, I tape the court hearings and
immediately transcribe the notes for my internet readership.
Lawyers have photographic memories and don't need to tape
record their hearings. I'm only a lowly electrical engineer
and make use of the opportunity to tape notes that the
courts provide. Guarantees the quality of my reports though.

You've all heard the CanWest News and C.P. reports on the
great Canadian marijuana cases.

Now you can go read the truth and see where they lied.

For instance,
It's not only legal in Ontario, it's all of Canada;
It's not only for under 30 grams, there is no limit stated;
It's not only for possession, it's off the scheduled of
banned substances for all charges.

That's what's going to be argued on Big Five Day.

All documentation has been provided at my medpot message
archives.

Hope you find this real-time political-legal drama of
interest.
