Has anyone heard anything on the availability of those new 18" satellite
dish that is now available in the US? Rumor has it that there are some
Canadians that are using such a device. If you have one, know someone
having one, or know how to get one, please get back to me.

From what I can understand, it's not the actual ownership of the dish that
is prohobited by the CRTC, but the fact that US programmers do not pay the
proper Canadian copyrights. That's why we have The Movie Network instead
of HBO or some other service.

Thanks for your time and please get back to me. I am planning a trip to
Buffalo in October, and that's when they go on sale in the state of New
York. I need to know if it's worth while to being one back or not. Thanks!
