The major problem with finding parts or vehicles on the Net is
twofold; first the newsgroups are not brand specific and if you create
a new group unless it is used it will soon be gone; second, the WEB
sites that are commercially operated have the problem of data input
verses receiving revenue.   There is also the problem that WEB sites
come and go like flies because of lack of revenue generation.  And I
think we all get tired of the "Smut" marketing that seems to get into
all usnet groups.

We have been attempting to address these problems with a direct access
system called ROUTE 66 On-Line (713)342-3650  modem.  Our theme is to
support enthusiasts and enthusiast clubs.  Unless car enthusiasts and
the clubs they may belong to come together in a single online arena it
will never be possible to reach all online motorheads at once or for
vendors to feel good about advertising on any online system.
