Tonight I tried all three NW56 numbers.  All connected on the first
try.  My password worked.  I'm not getting periods of DNS problems 
or lost packets, either.

Did you threaten to kidnap their Palm Pilots or something? ;>

Anyway, if this continues, the problem is solved.
