Now that Rahul has 56k numbers, why would you use MegaPOP?
I find their network latency to be poor. If you use shell, you need to get
to rahul.net anyway (as opposed to web surfing, which one might suspect is
better via MegaPOP). Getting to Rahul via MegaPOP actually requires
several hops, and the DNS servers appear to be located in the midwest, a
few hops away.
I use MegaPOP because it has a local number for me to use in Saint Helena.
The $5 is less than toll charges to Napa.

When I've gone out of town, the MegaPOP numbers are pretty handy, except
for Connecticut, where they have none. But given the right carrier, a
personal 800 number, pointing to one of Rahul's POP locations might be a
cheaper way to go... Again, because of Rahul's 56k presence.
