This is not the issue for 'some of us'. Forget the specific issue for a
moment. For some of us, it's the action taken by the Federal Supreme
Court that dictates what a provincial law should be in the area of
discrimination.  Ruling on someone's choice to, or not to, discrminate
based on behaviour is wrong. It will be interesting over the next number
of years to watch what happens in Alberta as a result of this ruling.

And that is because being a 'Reform party member' (or a member of any
other political party) does not presuppose any specific behaviour.  If
you said you would not hire someone as a waitress/waiter because they
were a member of a certain political group, what does that have to do
with their demeanor in serving the poublic (which is behavioural).  If
such a person did have poor behaviour with the public, or whatever other
behaviour the company deemed appriopriate to it's success, then the
termination should be supported.
