Which is precisely the point made by Norman Gall; you cannot fire someone
in this country because of their religious beliefs, but religious beliefs
are *behaviours*. Adherents to a particular creed are not a "race" in any
sense of the word, yet it is quite natural to think of religious freedom
as a civil right. 

I get tired of having to make this point over and over again, but there
you go.
