Dear shareware authors,
  
in Italy the shareware programs are very diffused, since every specialized
magazine in computer science contains a CD-ROM with some titles.   
Despite this vast distribution, the shareware programs are not used in the
correct way. This depends on the fact that the consumer doesn't often know
the foreign language used by the program, but also because the concept of
shareware is not clear to the more.   
These programs are in fact considered mere demonstrations and it is not
often given correct importance to them.  
The consumer therefore ignores the potentialities of the programs and he
often ends up thinking that the program is not useful or it is not done
well.   
Then, there are consumers that would like to register the shareware
programs that have found interesting, but they are discouraged by the
slowness of bureaucracy and the services of consignment, and by the fear of
losing money that must be sent abroad, the risk that the support   (CD-ROM
- Floppy disk) on which the program is, deteriorate during the trip of
consignment.  
There is then, the ghost of the defective program that must be re-sended,
always abroad, with a notable loss of time and money.   
Our firm wants to offer trust and guarantee to these customers.  
Trust that the public lends more gladly to a national society that
entertains relationships with all the best firms of overseas.  
A firm that gives the guarantee of a direct assistance to the final
consumer, who doesn't need anymore to worry about the doubts and the
problems that can rise up during the use of the program.  
We want that the customer is satisfied by the program, and he can be it
offering him those services and those facilitations that it is duty to
furnish him.  
We talk about personalized solutions, at low costs, direct to the small and
medium firms; the translation of the manuals enclosed to the programs; a
collection of the best shareware programs in a compilation at a low cost,
to let the customer  know and appreciate the most valid programs on the
market.    
So, it results evident that it is necessary, and undoubtedly more simple
and profitable for the consumers, but above all for the producers, to
maintain the relationships with an Italian society only rather than with
quite a lot final consumers.  
We would appreciate to have your opinion on the creation in Italy of a
distributing firm of shareware and that allows the customer to acquire the
program directly in local currency, with a direct assistance in Italian
language; we would like to know if you would be prepared to distribute and
to sell your programs through a similar firm. Please reply in private
