I've been a computer programmer for more than twenty years. And, like Pete McBreen, I'm an avid reader of comp.risks. I don't trust any computer systems of any type. Not the programmers or the users entering data. As far as the 40 bit vs 128 bit encryption thats a misleading problem. The big problem is the personal computer security, ie, childs friend mucks with your computer at home and pulls out data or posts stuff from your account, or the host computer systems where data is inadequately secured.
