PurpleWisdom Consultants is pleased to announce the starting up of a independent forum specially built for game professionals and industry players to get together at one place. Our "Brings to it to light" forum is designed to give discussion film. PurpleWisdom intentions are to fight against the fragmentation of knowledge within the games. To get to our server and join our forum server please go to www.purplewisdom.co.uk Take a look at some of the discussion rooms we have created. ---- Games Artist World :: Animators World Do you know how to produce natural weight and momentum with-in animations? Do you wonder how it can be achieved? Do you need to talk with other animators to get it just right. Hear what is going on in Animator World . Max, Maya, Lightwave. The objective is the same, great entertaining animation. ::Artists Caf Creative people have lots of ideas. Creativity needs stimulation from many sources from Media to a walk down the street. But no one can deny that a group of creative thinkers together can multiply the latent creativity to some thing much more potent. :: Adobe Artist Tools Every artist in the past learned from other artists. The greatest artists of all time spent most of the day or night at a caf or bar, knowing that inspiration and knowledge comes by talking to other like minded people that understand the world they are in. Adobe Artist Tools is the place to share ideas and tips concerning Adobe products. :: Frontend Design Every game needs a menu to front the game. The science and thought that goes to make a front-end usable to the point that it is so easy that it is not noticed at all is what is important. Bad Front-ends brings a bad consumer experience. In a demonstration that could be a lost sale. :: Maya World Maya is loved by many and miss-understood by others. Simple tips can make a big difference in an artist workflow. Talking about it with other Maya users that use it to make games can really only be a good thing. :: 3DS MAX Some hate MAX and some love it. Some just want to make games. Share your knowledge and heal the torment that many artists feel as they use MAX. What would you do to solve the Maya Max split ? What do you think of MAX ? :: LightWave World Ask anyone new to Lightwave what you do think of it ? Most say. It is completely different from what they have encountered before. That it hurts a creative mind to think Lightwave for the first 2 weeks or so. But for those that punch through they love it and see why so many in Film and T.V love it. :: XSI/ SoftImage A old friend to many an artist. Alein to others. Andybody who uses it knows they are dealing with some serous creative software. --- "Brings it to light" Forum can be found at www.purplewisdom.co.uk

I think a few ice breaking messages from the people running the site might have got the ball rolling a little better.
