I just happened on this newsgroup this evening and for what it is worth I'm
going to post an unusual request. I've been trying to dig up details on a
series of incidents that occurred in the first few months of 1980 in the
area just east of Albuquerque. This was on the Sandia Military Reservation
grounds at the north end of the Manzano Mountains visible from the 4 Hills
residential area.
On what appears to be several evenings in February of 1980 some films were
taken by an individual in the 4 Hills area of several unidentified and
highly unconventional aircraft. These films were taken at night and I have
seen still images of several frames of this film and these objects have
shape and some detail. I spoke with this individual a few years after the
incidents, and several documents were released by the AF agencies involved
that detailed this and some other events. What is clear is that something
occurred, this individual just happened to be in the right place at the
right time to get a film record, and subsequently there was some serious
interest paid by the military to just what this person got and what he might
do with it.
Much misinformation and disinformation has come out over the last 19 years
concerning these and subsequent events, but the core of the issue has held
firm. This person did film some unusual vehicles rising and departing from
the area inside the fence and the AF doesn't deny it. But there are no
records to be found to indicate what they think he saw, or what he did see,
let alone if the AF investigated it. I have been told personally by an
individual who was there that in fact there were 'other people' involved.
I need leads from anyone who might have any information that can break this
story open. Names, places, dates, and names of projects or file/record
numbers would help.
I have written two parts of an article detailing these events, written
over the past few years, if anyone needs more details.

...part 3 is slow in coming because without help from someone who knows
something this case may get buried for good, if only by time.
