Serveral other studies concurr with the one you quoted. I agree that graduating students seem to be having more trouble finding work this year than earlier. The only thing that I have noticed that could explain this is that the BIG companies are holding back, trying to get more lean. There seems to be jobs in smaller compaines, which do not have the HR facilities that the larger ones do, and a lot of these positions seem to get advertized and filled through the grapevine. I still think there are still a lot of economic opportunities in the computer science/techonology field.
