I printed Tom's instructions so as to have them handy while following those instructions. I un-installed the Acrobat Reader, wrote down the file names still left, deleted those files, restarted my computer, downloaded the new Reader, restarted my computer in the "Safe" mode, installed the new program, restarted my computer again, and then attempted to run the Acrobat Reader 5.0 program. Agggggghhhhhhhh!!!! It failed again. Same failure. Same error message. This seems to be a rather User-UNfriendly piece of software. I will have to request that Web sites using .pdf documents provide an HTML version or else I will shop elsewhere, and I will tell them WHY. Sorry, but I am rather disgusted right now. -- Jean
