PDF Thumbnail Preview in Windows Explorer Broken in Windows 7 32bit

On a Windows 7 Pro 32bit machine that had Acrobat Reader 9.2 installed
the PDF thumbnail preview worked great... until NitroPDF was installed.
Once NitroPDF was installed all we got were icons instead of thumbnail
previews in Windows Explorer.
-Clearing the icon cache via the Windows 7 disk cleanup utility did not help
-Checking and then unchecking the 'never show previews' in Windows
explorer did not help
-Uninstalling PrimoPDF and uninstalling Acrobat Reader and reinstalling
did not help
-Setting Acrobat Reader back at the default PDF reader by changing the
files associations (including .AcrobatSecurity .FDF .PDF .PDFXML .PDX
.XDP .XFDX)
After all of these attempts to correct the problem we do have some
thumbnail preview functionality but it is not 100%.
We even tried installing the latest Acrobat Reader 9.2 but no joy.
I have seen plenty of complaints about Windows 7 64bit and this problem
but none about Windows 7 32bit.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestion on how to solve this PDF
thumbnail preview problem.

If nothing else, let this be a warning to you not to use NitroPDF!

Thank you!

Thanks anyway, but figured out a solution myself. Adobe's abysmal
support made my company look elsewhere for a PDF editor and we ended up
with Bluebeam Revu instead of the overpriced and poorly supported
bloatware from Adobe. At nearly a fourth the price of Adobe's product
we could buy Bluebeam for every computer in the office without braking
the bank. And it works! ;)
