the IT guys will not allow anything but the MFG provided drivers or MS drivers for any device in the system.

also the current system is functioning fine with AA1.0 & CE2000 & the SB Live WDM card

but the IT dude seems bound & determined to "upgrade" the machine
(because that's how they make money)
