Hello OP Iam or was in your shoes before, and now five years later am getting started again and forgotten most what I had to learn myself back then. Adobe Audition is way over my head but I managed to learn enough to get by. If they still have it, purchase 'The Essentials of Adobe Audition. If you are like me, you will not understand all of it but it will help begin to put things together along with experimenting. Dave Powell
