Hi Mike,

I think I know what you're wanting to do, and if I am understanding you clearly, this can be done without too much extra effort, before you create your mp3 mixdown.

I record and edit sermons from my church for a weekly podcast. The final output is an .mp3 file. I use the ID3 fields for Title, Liturgical day, etc.

My production process is thus: First, I do my editing. Then, I reduce (mixdown) the tracks to a new .wav file. At this point, I add the ID3 information to the new .wav (Wave Properties menu option under "View" in Edit View or just Ctrl-P in EV). I complete the process by performing a "save as copy" operation, saving the file in .mp3 format. This allows me to keep my audio quality up before going to a lossy format.

The thought occurs that if you have certain "default" information that never changes in your ID3 tags (studio name, producer, etc), perhaps you could record a script (macro) with AA's scripting function that would let you make a sequence that 1)performs the mixdown 2)adds the ID3 info and 3)saves a copy to the mp3.
