Hello, I installed Version Cue CS4 back in November and have been using it successfully over a regular webDAV connection. This week I downloaded the 4.0.1 update and managed to connect with Adobe Drive. However when I connect over Adobe Drive the majority of the files are missing, corrupted - 'unexpected error' when I try to open JPGs etc. There's no particular pattern to what's missing and what's there. Sometimes it's folders, sometimes files of all sorts of different formats. When I reconnect over webDAV everything is once again there. I saw some tech notes about missing files and it suggested checking the Project Trash. This however was empty. It feels like some file somewhere is corrupted - reminds me of the needing to 'recreate the desktop file' back in the day on the mac. But how can I do this? I run my version cue server remotely so it's accessible over the internet (our team is spread around the globe). Some of the projects are very big several GBs of images. Smaller projects however also exhibit the problem. Has anyone else experienced this? What advice might you be able to give to get all the files showing in my projects? Maybe I have to delete the project; and then reimport from FTP (how it originally came in). I hope not given the large size; and now the trouble of syncing my old ftp store with the new vcue deposity that we'd been working with over webDAV. Any help much appreciated.

Hi Peter, this sounds like your CS4ServiceManager database or cache is corrupted. Please try this: 1. in Drive, disconnect and go to the options link and empty the cache. Restart machine. Try to connect again. See if all files are there now. 2. CAUTION: DO THIS ONLY IF NOTHING ELSE HELPS! LOCALLY SAVED AND NOT YET CHECKED-IN FILES WILL BE GONE! delete CS4ServiceManager folder in MAC = users/"username"/Library/ApplicationSupport/Adobe/ ; WIN = XP = c:\Documents and Settings\"accountname here"AppData\Adobe\ VISTA = c:\Users\"accountname here"AppData\Roaming\Adobe\ This will delete all your NOT CHECKED IN FILES and you get lost of that data! Your login credentials as well as your recent server entries in Drive panel will be gone too and have to be re-entered. If the folder cannot be deleted, exit the CS4ServiceManager in Mac=Activity Monitor, WIN= Taskmanager before. Or be patient: the CS4ServiceManager will exit itself after 5 idle minutes. Hope that helps. Markus
