We want the users to enter the CMYK values for the @fill parameter of tag. When we run imageinfo on a psd file created with CMYK we see the following as an example: fill = 'CMYK(6417bb00)' These values don't correspond to the percentage values that we expect to see for CMYK as in Photoshop/Illustrator applications. Any help to figure out how to get these values from a desired color will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Bipin Raj

Search on "fill" in the Developers Guide and XML Reference. There are a number of examples. They use the hex format where violet= "#FF00FF"

For CMYK, the color is usually expressed in percentage. If the CMYK values are (10%, 15%, 20%, 25%) how is this expressed in the hex format for CMYK? The hex values that I found in the Developers guide and XML Reference are for expressing RGB colors, which is why there are 6 digits and not 8 digits. Thanks, Bipin Raj

The syntax is slightly different for CMYK vs RGB in the set command - for RGB value="#CCC0D4" - for CMYK value="cmyk(1a26121a)" Your code will have to convert the percentage values to hex As a % 10% C, 15% M, 7% Y, 10% K As hex: 1a26121a

Is there a way to get named colors to work with SVG ( such as Pantone ) ? I would like to use SVG templates for printing purposes. I heard of SVGP but I can't find any new about this... Thanks

Recognize that SVG was created as a Web format and is RGB only. (I've heard talk of adding CMYK support to the SVG specification but I dont' know how far along that is.) In any case, AGS only supports RGB SVGs.
