I just installed AGS on Win2K Server SP4. every time I start the admin shortcut that the installer placed on the desktop I get this error message: "Cannot find the file 'http://localhost:8019/altercast' (or one of its components). Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required files and libraries are available." I did not have the Java SDK nor Perl installed at the time. I installed these later per the instructions in the AGS installer app. the admin web interface works, but the error is annoying. This is a new server with nothing else installed other than MS SQL Server which went on before AGS.

I've never seen AGS install a shortcut on my desktop. (Maybe it's an option in the installer that I jump over.) Does the shortcut work under: Start menu > Programs > Adobe >Graphics Server 2.1 > Administration Since everything seems to be working, and you can apparently access the Admin page through IE--I'd just delete the shortcut. (Or make a new one if the one under the Start menu works.)
