Thanks, Russ. I believe you may be right that the ultimate solution is to export as XML. Particularly since my input is XML and I'm using Frame to handle editing, formatting and generation of a nice PDF book based on conditions. I'm just pigheaded, I suppose. And, both XML export and WebWorks want to generate each chapter of the book as a separate file. What I need is what HTML export does: all chapters of the book into one file. So now my choice seems to be to either edit the class="name" assignments in the HTML by hand (should be easy enough, since the information is there already), or I paste together the files WebWorks spits out (which probably means I need to also edit the TOC and such...) I think for now I'll stick with Save As HTML and migrate toward saving as XML as soon as possible. BTW: Have you ever used the FrameMaker support portal, and if so, do you think it was work the $159 a year? I'm wondering if I should sign up, in case they have solutions hidden away the we don't know about. I'm seeing waaaaay to many questions on this forum go unanswered. Thanks again! - hal3
