Steven, Both Arnis and I were exploring the idea that your problem file was locked, which would restrict its usage and what you can do with it. It, apparently, is not, based on your description. Did you try Arnis's keystroke sequence to confirm? And... in the problem file, have you confirmed that there aren't another layer of imported-by-reference files? Art
