Jack, * Check the Distiller job settings for "Generate Tagged PDF." Which ever way it's set, try the other setting --- if it's Active now, turn it Off or vice versa. * Save the book's component files (and the book file itself) to MIF and reopen them and save them as FM files to remove any corruption or stray characters. Omsys.com includes a utility to do this in one pass at the book level in their free eval of MIF2Go. Cheers, Art
