Hi Sheila-

-I have it set to "Adobe PDF" when printing to PDF.

-The ruling styles from Custom Ruling and Shading are:
Top: From Table
Bottom: Medium
Left: Medium
Right: Mixed

Fill: Mixed
Color: From Table

-As you can see, I have changed some of the ruling styles.

-I've tried this last test with a blank FM document and default table, and have noticed the same defect. I've tried it with Thin ruling, Medium ruling, different colors, placing the table inside a text frame, placing the table inside a text frame inside an anchored frame, etc, and they all seem to show the same defect. In fact, I've checked out PDF's posted to the web from other companies, and have noticed the table boundary deficiency in their documents as well. Once you start looking for it, it becomes hard to miss. I've noticed it mostly on the top and left of tables, and on the corners, where if you experiment with enough zoom ratios, you will find that the table lines extend outside their boundaries. So unless all these documents were created with FM 8 (doubtful) I'm thinking this is some sort of inherent Acrobat or PDF issue?

Again, just to prove I'm not crazy and am not just imagining fake lines, I can email screenshots of the offending tables if you are unable to find any that have the issue. I have noticed a lot of documents from other sources have the outside borders removed entirely, making me think I may not be the only one who has noticed this?

Thanks
