"I have tried everything I can think of that is suggested in the forum to get rid of this message - the font in question is NOT used in the chapter." Maybe someone's already asked this, but are you sure that you searched everywhere? Or did you just search on the body pages? In Frame, bad fonts can be hiding on master pages, reference pages, and table formats as well. To do a complete search, you really need to search in the MIF version of the file. Rick
