rows that extent beyond the page

I have a table in which rows extend beyond one page, and the information "disappears" at the bottom of the page. How can I break the row? Resizing the row simply cuts off the info at the bottom. They only thing I can think of is to put the info into several rows and then straddle them. Any other suggestions?
