We need to add an empty line at the bottom of our LOTs and LOFs. Is it possible to do this with a template? If we can avoid it, we'd rather not have to have the writers remember to open each file every time they generate a book and add a line. Thanks for any help!

You can automate it if you're willing to break the "don't extract blank paragraphs in generated files" rule, and also perform a manual task once for each book. * Create a new paragraph format named "blankline" and apply it to a new blank paragraph on last line of the the last page of the last file in the book. * Include the paragraph format in the generated file definitions. Generate once, then on the generated file's reference pate, modify the paragraph format definition line so it contains only the <$paratext> building block. * Regenerate, recognize the modified reference page. From now on, the generated files will contain the blank line IF it's been inserted on the last page of the book. HTH Regards, Peter Gold KnowHow ProServices

Thanks much, Peter! I'll give it a try.

That did it (of course). Thanks again!
