Will I lose my site?

If I un-install and re-install Golive 6, will I lose the site I created?
I can download the update, 6.0.1, but it doesn't go into golive. It says that the update has already been installed into my version of golive but it has not.
I asked on the golive forums about a fix for it but no one has answered, so I have to get disparate and go to the extreme and try to re-install.
I have golive 6.0, and windows vista home basic.
I can't live with all these bugs in golive!

Please help!
Bob

Everything about your site is stored in a database called the site file, so it doesn't matter if you re-install.

Even if your site file was deleted you will still have all your design assets available, but things like ftp data will be lost. From the assets (pages, images, scripts, etc) you can build a new site file, so as long as you don't delete the assets there is no problem.

No. If you're anxious, make an extra copy of the whole outer folder, but there's no reason it should disappear.

Thank you both very much!

I didn't really think so but I just wanted to make sure after doing all that work.

To think before you start doing drastic things is a very rare gift! :-)
