OpenType fonts exclusively
That sounds exclusively. Isn't it a weird plan to let the InDesign/InCopy workflow determine the available fonts for layouts?
We are just going to support our graphic dept (Mac) with an InCopy station (Win) for editors for the usual heap of text changes. Platform mix because the layouts are Mac already and all the text comes from Win for years. Does this mean we can not do it this way just because of font compatibility issues?
Is there a way to create a kind of list which delivers/translates used fonts/fontnames for both platforms on opening a file? Like automatic temporary replace of fonts in the background on opening a file (similar to the usual font replacement window)?
