need a good pdf preflight check program

What is the best preflight program to use these days. I"ve heard of pitstop, etc....
even the preflight in InDesign. (which I don't like - doesn't really answer anything)

I'd like to know if type is black or rgb black and is there a program that will let me change it for output.
