QXP generates its own PostScript. It thus knows which fonts are needed to correctly render the QXP generated stuff, but I'm not sure if QXP scans the DSC comments in placed EPS images for needed fonts (I supect it doesn't).

A workaround may be to place some (perhaps white) text outside the page to force QXP to "know" about this font.
