First - Is there any documentation for Pscript5.dll? Version features and changes that sort of thing? I have continued my testing and reposted my before and after files. Any help will be greatly appreciated. RECAP + new files I have code that generates a .ps from a MS Word document. That .ps file can be input to a c++ dll that will transform it into two up. Much like this perl script will <http://www.cs.indiana.edu/docproject/programming/postscript/nup.html> We are upgrading our systems from NT to XP. We had the bright idea that maybe we should use the most current Postscript driver for XP. Old driver - AdobePS5.dll Version 5.1.2 New driver - PScript5.dll Version 5.2 (download pkg is marked 1.0.6) Everything was working fine until I made the upgrade on the postscript driver. I still get a .ps file but it won't distill. %%[ Error: invalidrestore; OffendingCommand: restore ]%% Stack: -save- -save- The really weird part is using the old NT driver works on my XP machine. Not an option to keep using it - as the project leader wants to "move ahead". So I figure there must be language changes or driver differences documented somewhere. I have been searching for version change documentation on the new Postscript Driver 1.0.6 on Adobe's site with no luck. I stopped my process and saved the postscript files before they hit my c++ program and I noticed some differences right off the bat with ehsave being a new addition. userdict begin /ehsave save def end ... ehsave restore I am a total newcomer to .ps so any help is appeciated. Where did I go wrong?
