Thanks a lot for your help. I've managed to solve the problem in another way. I've set the default page size on the printer to A5 and the paper size in tray 3 to A5 and because the EPS code doesn't set a paper size it defaults to the what the printer has set. For A4 printing I send the print job through GhostScript which converts it to PCL and sets the page size to A4. Tray 2 on the printer has page size set to A4.
