I don't know whether this is the right forum to post this issue. If there is any other forum where it is more relevant, please inform me.

Is it possible to extract text from eps file?

I need to search for a pattern in eps (graphics) file. This graphics file may contain some text which I need to search.

I don't know whether it is possible at all to do this.
