The only way to go "down level" with PostScript is to fully interpret it - the job your RIP (should) be doing. You can use Distiller to convert to PDF, then print level 2 from Acrobat. If using GhostScript take great care to be sure it preserves CMYK, does not reduce resolution etc. You need to do the same with Distiller of course. Aandi Inston
