In an effort to improve Postscript printing performance, is there a way to send the individual image planes to a Postscript device that will then combine them to produce the composite output?

The goal is to bypass/reduce RIP processing of large amounts of image data.

Any help on this or info on the most efficient way to print image data would be appreciated.

Thanks.
