I don't know whether this is the right forum to post this issue. If there is any other forum where it is more relevant, please inform me.

Is it possible to extract text from eps file?

I need to search for a pattern in eps (graphics) file. This graphics file may contain some text which I need to search.

I don't know whether it is possible at all to do this.

GhostScript includes tools that can sometimes do this.

My company offers commercial batch/developer tools to extract the ASCII text from EPS files, available on Windows, Linux and UNIX platforms.

I'm also very curious about your search for patterns in graphics files. Could you drop me an email?
