It looks like the same file I had but I will use it and see if there is a difference. 

At first I thought I had it licked with the new install. It printed a test page just fine and printed the first document from ID 2 just fine. Then I made changes to the image in the document and attempted to reprint and the same old deal: it made it about a third of the way through a 1.6 MB file and the printer kicked out the paper and started cycling more paper through. The printer dialog says it's still trying to print and I have to cancel out of that, shut down the printer, reboot, and come back to it again. This cycle repeated itself twice so far. 
So I installed the new universal Adobe Postscript Driver for Windows, updated all the postscript drivers with it and same story. 
Almost like there is a glitch in the postscript code to the printer.... I can print to my level 2 QMS laser printer from ID but only with the Adobe driver, not the QMS driver. It's on a network, the Epson is local to this 98 machine. 
Still works fine with the Epson driver and it's the only way I'm getting any work done today! Big downside is that eps files will only print with screen preview. For instance, if fonts are converted to outlines, you get fuzzy type without the Postscript rip.... 
I'm running out of ideas...
