PressReady Unusable, Can Anyone Help?

I'm using PressReady under OS 9.1 with Quark 4.11, mostly and Photoshop 5.5. The first 6 months after installation went pretty well. Then, about 3 months ago, applications began crashing every single time I tried to print from the PressReady driver, usually when I click page setup. Sometimes the document would start to spool and then hang. I have deleted all the PressReady files and reinstalled, twice. I'm using AdobePS 8.6 and ATM Light 4.6.2. I tried installing AdobePS 8.8, no dice. Anyone have any suggestions or ideas? I haven't been able to really run an extension conflict test because it's so difficult to isolate what the heck is needed to run PressReady, but my attempts have so far been washouts, same crashes.
