Hmmm, Aandi, you left out something -- between 1 and 2 you have to install a printer. 

AndriakL74: When you launch AdobePS, you are going to be asked to install a printer. This is where the people who are asking you to send them a PS file come in ... they should tell you what printer to use, and even send you what's called a PPD file to do so. The PPD file tells AdobePS how the printer operates and its capabilities.
