PDF Conversion Problem with Version 3.5

I am attempting to convert a large untagged PDF file, 217 pages, in the Adobe for Palm desktop 3.5. It makes it to page 211 and crashes with the following error;
"Error converting to tagged PDF; knowledge source fail. <Find SL and DE containers; out of memory>
Available mem in handheld is 14.5 M, and card 202M.
Palm Desktop is 4.1
Ideas?
