I just had Adobe Reader crash giving me an "Out of Memory" error. This seemed odd since I have 3GB of RAM. I checked it out, and indeed, as I scroll around the document I was viewing, the reader was grabbing more and more memory (and getting rather sluggish also). The document was a 14 MB music file which I suspect is just images. However after only a minute of scrolling around it the Adobe Reader would often be using over 1 GB of RAM! Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix? How can this be reported to Adobe? My System: P4 2.8 GHz HT 3.0 GB RAM ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (128 MB) Windows XP Pro SP2 Adobe Reader 8 (8.0.0.2006102300) Thanks, Brien
