I just posted this at another location as well.... This is my first post as well. I just did the same thing and upgraded to 8.0 on all my computers here at work and noticed some thing odd about it as well. I can๏ฟฝt say on the CPU usage cause I have Seti running but I see that they have a problem with memory usage as well. I just opened a catalog that I downloaded, and wondered why my dual MP2800๏ฟฝs came to a crawl, and got a resource error. When I opened up task manager I saw that the mem usage history was at its max. So I rebooted and did a little test. I opened up the same catalog and watched the mem usage meter climb every time I clicked on a page, forward or backwards (20 in all), till it was pegged. Closing the program drops all the mem back to a normal level. So there is a problem with 8.0 somewhere and needs fixing. Can't seem to find a way to relay this to Adobe with out having to pay them for support. Was thinking of sending a copy of this to the guys at theinquirer.net. They seem to get things done.
