I'm a student at DevRy. Today, I attempted to download the PDF file into my PC. The following occurred: I was asked to ubpate the system. I previouslu had 7.0, and updated it with 7.05 and 7.08. Through the process I was also asked to add the Flash support. This crashed my entire system. To bypass the crash I had to change the original system config to boot from the HD, not the bay. Now, it won't work the bay without getting the blue screen. Secondly, I still cannot download the school's PDF file becuase it keeps asking to update Adobe. I go to the Adobe plage and tried to load in 8.0, however, now I'm getting this message: "Error 1714: older version of Adobe Reader 8 cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group." Can someone help me please.
