All,
Can someone tell me if I understand the Search Index concept correctly:
I have a set of 200 PDFs - Cover.PDF and Tab_1.PDF to Tab_199.PDF. Each
PDF contains the same 200 bookmarks to the other PDFs. I want to send
the PDFs out on CD or put them on a network drive. The user will "always"
start by opening Cover.PDF. I have created an Index (Binder.pdx) using
the Catalog feature. I have set the Search Index for Cover.PDF to be Binder.pdx.
Is that all I need to do in order to enable the user to search while in one of the Tab_n.PDFs and have the option of searching against Binder.PDX without having to set the Index file for themselves?
Or do I have to set the Search Index for Tab_1.PDF to Tab_199.PDF to be Binder.pdx?
If so, does anyone know if there is a way to script that? I've looked, and can't find one, and figure maybe it's because it's not necessary...
Thanks,
Patrick
