The IFilter extension (the plug-in for Microsoft Indexing Services) shipped with Adobe Reader 8 generates enormous memory leaks. In order to isolate the problem, I simply ran the "filtdump.exe" utility (shipped with the Microsoft SDK) on a directory containing 400 PDF files, and I saw memory ("private bytes") increase almost linearly to about 200Mb!
The same test with Adobe Reader 7 installed showed an almost constant (around 30Mb) memory consuption.

Does anyone know how to report this bug to Adobe?
