Hi Ben, Yes I am trying to update to version 8 ready for an install of SP2. I have tried to manually remove Adobe Reader 6.x and this does not seem to help. Any of the files mentioned to remove Adobe Reader 6.x manually were not on my computer anyway (so I assume it is completely removed). I have encountered a few problems removing Adobe Reader 7.x and wonder if this may be what is causing the problems. Is it possible to manually remove Adobe Reader 7.x? I can find no information on this website about how to do this. Thanks.
