Hi there, I recently installed Acrobat Reader 8 on a Win XP (SP 2) machine. But all it does is increase the CPU load whenever I try to start the program. AcroRd32.exe starts with a high load but then it just sits in the ram doing nothing while csrss.exe show a high load instead. After the install there also was no license agreement to agree to, or anything the like. It just makes the system slower. Can anyone help, please? I really don't want to return to an earlier version, 'cause they screw up the colors when printing (Epson R1800, way to dark, not likely a driver issue). Don't wanna use foxitreader either; it cannot center a page correctly. Maybe this not starting problem is similar to the Firefox vs. P4 (Prescott HT) issue. It shows a similar behavior when it comes to not working...
