Mark,

Fair enough, but when I test from my personal account on my two iMacs there are no other applications running. There are no applications installed into my home folders, only in the /Applications folder. And if I delete all my login items, or log in with shift key held down so that login items are not launched, there is no change.

As far as I can tell, the installed applications are universal to all accounts; and all third-party extensions are active to all accounts. I know there are some items that can be account-specific, such as having a QuickTime Pro key entered, but I can't find anything like that on my iMacs.

Is there some kind of dump or report I could submit to advise of all applications and extensions installed on my iMacs, that might be useful for the troubleshooting?
