I would like to add that I installed Adobe Reader 8.0.0 today on my 20 inch iMac G5 (with built-in iSight camera), using the installer for PowerPC on this machine, and have the exact same issue as on my intel iMac -- Reader crashes within 15 seconds of launch, even though just sitting idle. And if I use Safari to open a PDF file, it too will crash now within 15 seconds of when the PDF was loaded, which must be due to the new plugin. Does anyone want crash reports from this Mac? [They're long and take four posts to include the complete report, so I thought I'd ask first.]
